TAURIKO SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY 2013

"On your marks get set go!" Tauriko School's cross country for 2013 was under way!

Maddie and Jack took a strong lead in the Year 1s race.  Then the second race was up and going before you could say 'Tauriko racers'.  The races continued throughout the morning, the kids looking like leopards racing across Waipuna Park.  Everyone tried hard and raced well.

Here are some people's comments on the day:
Cumorah, year 5 said, "I was so nervous at the end I felt like I was dying."
Meila, year 5 said, "I was nervous at the start but I was happy at the end because I finished".
