On Tuesday the 23rd of June Dad and I drove to Woodlands School in Opotiki for the Bay Of Plenty Cross Country Championships. I was in the Year 8 girls race, we had to run 3km. At 1pm we were off. The race was hard and fast. There were 4 major hills and it was very muddy. I finished 14th. Overall I was pleased to get to go to the BOP Cross Country Champs and proud to not only represent Tauriko School but the Western Bay of Plenty - who was the overall team.
