Best of the Best Gymnastics Competition

Last term on the 28^th of June some gymnasts had qualified to compete in the Best of the Best competition at Argos Gym.
These gymnasts had placed in the top 8 in their year group at the previous gym competitions.
Each female gymnast had a routine on the floor, beam and vault.
The boys did a mat exercise instead of the beam.
Gymnasts were in groups competing against Year 3’s all the way up to Year 8’s in each level. The competitors were from all around the Bay of Plenty.

Peta Elliot 3^rd = overall

Casey Rendell 8^th overall

Flyers Girls

Libby Coster 1^st = overall

Paige Aulding 4^th overall

Chloe Smith 9^th overall

Flyers Boys

Campbell Read 5^th overall

Brendan McLelland 11^th overall

Twisters Girls

Hannah Rose 1^st overall

It was a tough competition and we all did extremely well.
