Dynamos 2013

Dynamos Leaders are up and running at Tauriko School for 2013!

Congratulations to Jack, Campbell, Lachie, Paige, Sophie, Madeline, Jacob, 

Emma, Lucy, Arohaina, Hannah, Lewis, Ellie, Jessica -  these students were selected to be Dynamo Leaders this year.  

Brooke and Charlotte were selected to be Dynamo Mentors.

Last week the 14 Dynamo Leaders and Mentors attended a 2 hour Lead-it workshop run by Margaret Apiti from Sport BOP. 

The workshop gave the Dynamos an opportunity to learn some new games, find out ways to work with and lead a group of students, and was also a great chance for the students to think about how they might develop their own leadership skills.

Students were celebrated as emerging leaders at a school assembly where they were each awarded a whistle, ID card, clipboard and drink bottle. 

Today (Monday) the lunchtime fun began:
